Spit really does get out blood stains...

That's my Martha Stewart tip of the day. So just in case the next time your child has to have a q-tip that is a mile long shoved up his nose so far that it bleeds for a flu test, you'll know. Just have him (and it cannot be your spit or the spit of your husband) spit on the blood and let it sit. You don't even have to rub it. It just magically disappears! And yes, by the way, the flu test was positive! So now we have Tamiflu-o-plenty at our house.

Odd...how did you find this out?!? Oxyclean works well too just in case your kid is dehydrated. :) I'm so sorry about the flu!!! I hope it's not too bad and that he doesn't share it with the rest of you!

It's one of those old wives tales that I heard when Jacob was a baby. I have tried it before but this time it was on something nicer than a t-shirt. The dr. gave all of us Tamiflu so hopefully we won't get it, too.

Hi Julie! Jacob looks so cute snaggletoothed! I appreciate the tip about blood stains!

Also, thank you so much for your encouraging comment on my blog! It is so nice to hear from other women who have gone through infertility or miscarriages. It makes me feel a little comforted. I had to experience the same thing with a young girl I know who became pregnant by a new boyfriend. It does feel like an injustice! I have to constantly remind myself that God has a plan and He is in control. I do not like it when Satan tries to steal my peace! Thanks again! You made me feel better.

We did not find our dog. I need to post about it.
